FINNTALC M10E

FINNTALC M10E is a hydrated magnesium silicate. Finntalc grades are purified in a cascade of multiple flotation cells. This process results in a tight definition of the talc composition, making this natural product similar to a synthetic chemical. In combination with a precisely controlled particle size distribution, this ensures exact reproducibility in formulations. FINNTALC M05SL can be used as a functional extender to achieve following results: Paints & Coatings: Good barrier properties, booster of white opacity, matting of low PVC paints, good outdoor durability, finetuning of rheological properties, efficient pigment spacer. Plastics: High performance grade in plastics. Good impact properties. Compacted grades are available for low dust generation and easy handling resulting in higher compounding throughput.
